Venerdi 13 — Tragedia

When they say “clever as a fox” here is what they mean:

Excerpt from Rusty the Fox, “Patrol Notes”  Feb 13th.

“ Hour 2130, location Incocco Turkey Pen, routine evening check of those delicious creatures reveals absence of very noisy annoying dog Ginger, appears to be in the house enjoying the warmth. Well, well, well, I wonder what happens if …(censoredcontains professional secrets to cage opening) ….

Let The Feast Begin!!!!!!!!!!    Oh DRAT is that the door opening and those darned dogs out again……….”

Well I don’t think we need any accompanying photos here to get the picture!! The victims were two, found decapitated and now in the freezer (we did leave the unwanted bits for Rusty to show our appreciation for keeping the Dogs ecstatically on endless ALERT— Aussies thrive on being useful, preferably involving barking and running) but the rest were disperse and eventually recovered alive due to the timely arrival of the Incocco Protection and Recovery Squad, otherwise the toll would have been much higher.

Rusty was extremely reluctant to leave the scene and gave Ginger and Rosy quite a bit of aggravation, not to mention Marjie when she found him sitting calmly 3 metres from the cage ready to walk up the ramp and get the next morsel !!!

This has all led some of us to speculate on a suspected pay-off between Rusty and Fiorenzo as our beloved resident Cook has had turkey on his mind for a while……..

Tutto sto casino….è ovvio che sia stato Fiorenzo! Era l’unico fra di noi che volesse mangiare i poveri tacchini. Non ho dubbi! VERGOGNA!

english translation to Fra’s comment:
All this big fuss….. its obvious that it was Fiorenzo!! He was the only one among us who wanted to eat the poor turkeys. I have no doubts…..! SHAME!!!!

I would also like to add here that for all Fiorenzo wanted to eat them that the person who recovered the two decapitated bodies, cleaned and froze them for future consumption was NOT fiorenzo but yours truly. So DOUBLE SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
